Navigating the hilly terrain is a workout!!! Guests should know there's zero shuttle service from Gora train station. Minimal restaurant options nearby could be disappointing for foodies.

I appreciated its incredibly nice and exceptional employees.

The room was really well appointed and spotless and included an electric kettle and refrigerators. The beds with down pillows were extremely comfy...

Truly memorable stay, as always. Clean hotel in a traditional building just off the main attractions in Hakone as well as the ropeway / cable cars giving great general access around Hakone. A lot of DELICIOUS food. Great staff during my stay. Remote location, at a medium distance from A Crafthouse Gallery. Also, close to restaurants.

The location was unbeatable, the breakfast was great. Got amazing, impeccably clean room with a view on the garden. All the staff was very friendly, fixed my issues.

The hotel rooms are quiet with a view on the garden. The location charming and good for Gora Onsen district, it is adjacent to the nearest convenience store and the ropeway/cable cars giving great general access around Hakone:)))

What an amazing stay! The private onsen was such a treat after a long day, and the Japanese-style breakfast was delicious. One minor hiccup was that the kids’ robes were a bit big, but overall, I would totally come back!

The garden view from the room was superb! The private onsen provided the ultimate relaxation (especially after hiking). Breakfast was excellent, and the staff was attentive throughout our stay.

The jewel in the crown was the very amiable staff. This accommodation is located in a remote area close to restaurants. it's conveniently situated next to Gora Station and the bus stop, making access to hiking and public transport easy.

The Family Room with Shower was super cozy and spacious. There was this cool tatami flooring that totally gave off a traditional vibe. Loved having access to the private hot bath, great for unwinding! The bathroom was clean, but it could be a little tight if you're with a bigger group. The garden view from the room was a nice touch, too.

The room was spacious with fine views of the garden and mountains. The private onsen experience was fantastic. Breakfast offerings included delicious sweet products, though the limited dining options nearby were a drawback. A shuttle for transportation would have made logistics easier, and being in a hilly area added some difficulty with luggage.

Clean dorm, lovely garden view. Carry-on luggage only. Storage available for bigger bags.

The room had air conditioning and a nice balcony. Loved the tatami flooring and the tv with Netflix. The onsen was super relaxing, and the hot spring bath was a highlight for sure. I also enjoyed the massage chair in the public bath area. The garden views were amazing!

This hotel offers a great selection of breakfast options, features a beautifully traditional building, and has impeccably clean and well-furnished rooms with stunning views.
